Sarah Sonsalla's practice focuses on Municipal Law and Economic Development and Redevelopment.
Sarah joined Kennedy & Graven in 2005. She grew up in White Bear Township, Minnesota and received her B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 1998. In 2001, Sarah received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, Sarah served as the Executive Editor for the Minnesota Intellectual Property Review. She also was the Vice President of Finance for the International Law Student Association and a member of the University's Educational Policy Committee. During law school, she was a law clerk at Meshbesher & Spence, Ltd. and the Rochlin Law Firm, Ltd.
Sarah was a law clerk at Kelly & Fawcett, P.A. during her last year of law school. She joined Kelly & Fawcett as an Associate Attorney after being admitted to practice law in 2001. She practiced primarily in the areas of municipal law, labor and employment law and real estate until 2005.
Sarah lives in Woodbury with her husband, Tim. She enjoys biking, downhill skiing, aerobics and running. She ran her first marathon in 2004. She also likes to play the trumpet.
