Philadelphia Personal Injury Lawyer
Daniel Jeck, a founding partner in the law firm of Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C., has achieved remarkable results for his clients in a broad range of catastrophic injury cases, including numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, for over 15 years in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Clients he has represented include children with cerebral palsy due to birth injuries, women who have suffered a delay in their diagnosis of breast cancer, and individuals who have been permanently paralyzed or killed due to a delay in their diagnosis of an infection, a sports-related accident, a defectively designed product, or a construction site accident.
Jeck has tried dozens of cases throughout his career. His most notable verdicts and settlements consist of a $1.5 million verdict for a young woman in New Jersey who suffered from a delay in the diagnosis of an epidural abscess following the delivery of her son and a $4 million dollar settlement for a man who suffered a delay in the diagnosis of a transverse myelitis which resulted in a spinal cord infarction. Other recent results include a $1.4 million dollar settlement for a man prematurely discharged from a local emergency room who died shortly after from a heart attack and an $8 million dollar settlement against a product manufacturer on behalf of a young, permanently brain damaged child who was injured after having been given intravenous solution inappropriately formulated by defectively designed pharmaceutical equipment.
Born in Philadelphia, Jeck earned his B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1989 and his J.D. from the Temple University School of Law in 1992. Admitted to practice in state and federal courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania and American Association for Justice. Jeck has lectured at the Temple University School of Law and the Villanova School of Law. He has frequently presented and coordinated programs in the field of trial advocacy for his peers, comprised of courses involving premises liability, breast cancer litigation, trial strategy, deposition strategy and the MCARE Act. He has handled pro bono matters on behalf of the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program and the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, served on the Board of Directors for the Beta Alumni Association, and is the recent recipient of the 2010 Founders Award given annually to the alum who has demonstrated distinguished service to the Beta Sigma Beta Fraternity.
