Martin J. Jaffe was born in Bayonne, New Jersey in 1965. He graduated from Florida State University in 1987, then worked for several years as a claims adjuster for a national insurance company and three years as a parole officer. Martin graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1998. While in law school he was a national finalist two years in a row in the ATLA National Trial Tournament, as well as named best advocate in the NITA Tournament of Champions Trial Competition. He was also an Associate Editor of the Akron Law Review.
After law school, he moved to Florida and became a trial attorney for one of Florida's leading defense firms representing automotive and other product manufacturers, insurance companies, large retailers and auto dealers. Martin was a partner in the firm litigating catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases before joining the Law Firm of Morgan & Morgan. He was also honored with the Martindale-Hubbell "AV" peer review rating which is the highest rating available for ethics and ability.
Martin leads the firm's product liability practice group, and is actively involved in wrongful death and serious injury cases throughout the country involving defective motor vehicles, ATVs, tires, smoke detectors, residential fires, ladders and heavy machinery.
Martin is a proud husband and father of twin sons, and stays active in the community through coaching youth soccer, football and baseball.
