Kyle A. Israel practices extensively litigation in the areas of personal injury, construction, commercial and general liability. He has written and lectured extensively on construction law issues. He has argued the landmark Arizona construction defect case Lofts at Fillmore v. Reliance before the Arizona Supreme Court. He was the founding Chair of the Construction Law Section of the Maricopa Bar. Kyle regularly conducts negligence, construction, and insurance seminars.
Kyle was admitted to practice law in Arizona State and Federal courts since graduating from the Arizona State University College of Law ("ASU") in 1994. At ASU, Kyle received the US Law Award for Academic Excellence. He was named Outstanding Advocate. He represented the ASU Moot Court team in the finals of the National Trial Advocacy Championships in Chicago, Illinois.
After working for several years for a large insurance defense firm, Kyle founder Israel & Gerity, PLLC in 2002, where he has headed up the firm’s litigation practice ever since.
In the area of personal injury, Kyle has handled many serious injury cases arising in the areas of auto, construction, medical malpractice, dram shop, animal attacks and more. Kyle has received favorable verdicts and settlements in each of these areas.
In the area of construction litigation, Kyle has represented owners, contractors, property managers and design professionals. In commercial litigation, he has represented business owners, art dealers, real estate developers, title insurers, liability insurers, etc.
Kyle has tried many cases to verdict, receiving nearly 100% favorable verdicts.
Kyle serves as arbitrator, umpire and mediator in various civil litigation and insurance disputes.
Recently, Kyle was anonymously selected by his peers as a member of the initial class of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, http://www.azfinestlawyers.org/, an organization that seeks to elevate the practice of law and that selected the top 2% of Arizona attorneys meeting their criteria.
