Carole Clark Isakson has an interesting practice mix: real estate, bankruptcy, general business matters and computer software. These areas of expertise have evolved with her practice representing small businesses, including trucking companies.

Every business is involved in a real estate transaction at some point, and Carole has been involved in many commercial real estate transactions, both for the seller and the buyer, and also in the context of land acquisition and construction. Businesses also unfortunately find themselves creditors (or suppliers) in bankruptcy cases, and her skill in this area has guided many a client through the pitfalls of what can be a frustrating and expensive process.

She counts several software companies among her long term clients, and with other attorneys at KWGC is able to provide virtually all of the legal services that they require. Above all, Carole enjoys the practice of law, and the opportunity to work with so many fine companies and individuals. Ms. Isakson is an AV rated attorney, and a partner with the firm. Minnesota Law and Politics named Ms. Isakson a "Super Lawyer". She has provided mentoring to first year law students at WMCL, and believes that every lawyer should give back to the community and the profession. Carole enjoys people, and for that reason greatly enjoys presenting seminars to the many business groups with whom she is associated. She also is a regular clinic attorney for LegalCORPS, providing initial advice to persons interested in starting businesses. She and her husband have three children (including a preschooler) so she frequently finds herself attending Cub Scout meetings, coaching boys’ soccer, hanging out at the ice rink, discussing endless amounts of Star Wars’ trivia, and having tea parties. An avid potter for 15 years, she also enjoys making quilts and watching SciFi movies.
