William Ise has been a Proctor in Admiralty since 1973. In this capacity, he has served as Assistant Admiralty Counsel with the Admiralty Division, Office of the Judge Advocate General, U.S. Department of the Navy. In addition, William also served as Admiralty Trial Attorney from 1975-1978 with the Admiralty and Shipping Section, U.S. Department of Justice, handling admiralty and maritime litigation and trials throughout the Ninth Circuit.
Bill served as Admiralty Claims Officer during tours of duty as Staff Judge Advocate, U.S. Naval Support Activity, Commandant, Eleventh Naval District (North), Treasure Island, CA and as Force Judge Advocate, U.S. Naval Forces, Japan. He handled high-level admiralty claims matters for the U.S. Navy in Japan, Korea and in the Northern California areas.
During his time as a Senior Trial Attorney with the private law firm of Booth, Mitchel and Strange in both Cosa Mesa and Los Angeles, California, Bill handled admiralty and maritime claims and litigation.
Bill has been a Proctor member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States since 1973.
Bill was also Vice President and General Counsel for a manufacturer of trucks and truck bodies - responsible for intellectual property, employment, product liability, environmental and anti-trust claims and litigation.

• Supervised major patent infringement, trade secrets and trademark litigation
• Initiated and coordinated federal litigation against the State of Ohio resulting in ruling declaring state statute unconstitutional
• Negotiated and prepared wide variety of contracts and agreements.
