Robert specializes in product liability and toxic tort litigation, concentrating in the area of pharmaceutical drug and device products. He has extensive experience in all phases of product liability litigation, in both state and federal courts, including pretrial discovery and motions, trial preparation, and post-trial motions and appeals. He has defended manufacturers of a variety of products, including IUDs, oral contraceptives, breast implants, and asbestos.
Robert is the author of "A Way Around The Daubert Gate?," Andrews' Medical Devices Litigation Reporter (July 15, 1999), which is an analysis and commentary of case law pertaining to an expert's reliance on the methodology of "differential diagnosis" to support an opinion regarding specific causation even though there is no proof of general causation.

McNeil-PPC, Inc. — defense of manufacturer of over-the-counter analgesic in lawsuits brought in state and federal courts nationwide alleging personal injury as a result of ingesting the product.
