Marc founded the Firm in 2002, and he currently serves as the Firm’s Senior Partner. Marc’s practice focuses corporate and securities law. Marc has represented issuers, investors, investment banks, venture capitalists, and hedge funds in a variety of financing transactions, including private placements, venture capital financings, public offerings, APOs, PIPEs, lines of credit, term loans, and other secured financings. Marc has also represented clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, reverse mergers, divestitures, spinoffs, reorganizations, and recapitalizations. Marc routinely advises clients regarding corporate governance, SEC reporting compliance, executive compensation, fiduciary obligations, ethics, and general corporate matters. Marc also has extensive trial experience in business and securities litigation, having tried several jury and non-jury cases and arbitrations. Marc’s client companies have ranged from emerging growth businesses to Fortune 500 corporations and represent a broad range of industries, including information technology, medical devices, pharmaceutical, real estate, energy, aerospace, automotive, venture capital, hedge fund, and investment banking. Marc received his joint Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management in 1992 and his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1995. Marc is an active member of the California bar.
