Mark Smigiel began his legal career in 2000. For the first seven years of his practice, he worked as an insurance defense lawyer representing corporations, insurance companies and other defendants who had been sued in personal injury, product liability and commercial litigation matters. These cases ranged from minor injury car wrecks to large, technical product liability, personal injury and wrongful death matters involving claims in excess of $10,000,000.

Since 2008, his practice has included representation of individuals, plaintiffs and consumers in selected personal injury and employment claims, family law matters, construction and warranty disputes, real estate matters, disputes with businesses and DTPA claims.

With the establishment of his own firm, he has been able to change the focus of his practice to utilize his experience as an insurance defense lawyer to represent the injured in personal injury cases. He also represents individuals in a variety of other litigation and family law matters.
