Mr. Slager practices personal injury and wrongful death litigation at the firm, representing his clients against negligent parties and insurance companies. He received his undergraduate degree from Calvin College. As a law student at Michigan State University College of Law, he received the Jurisprudence Award in Civil Trial Advocacy I. Mr. Slager competed for his law school's Niagara Moot Court team and was a member of the Journal of Business and Securities Law.
Today, Mr. Slager advocates for injured people. He enjoys getting to know each client and guiding them through the litigation process. Mr. Slager stays informed of developments in Michigan injury and insurance law, and employs the law for his clients' benefit in writing and argument.
He has represented clients successfully in state and federal courts throughout Michigan. Mr. Slager has participated in multiple jury trial trials, including a 2012 solo trial in which the jury awarded his client a significant verdict and the Judge awarded sanctions. He has worked on many successful appeals and argued before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.
