On August 30, 1974, Dwayne Singleton was born in a small town east of Atlanta.  Shortly thereafter, his father bought a small farm in Oxford, Georgia where Dwayne spent the rest of his childhood.  It was on this small farm where he learned the values of hard work and the benefits of doing things right the first time.  He attended Newton County High School, and later graduated from The State University of West Georgia.  In 2002, Dwayne fulfilled a dream of becoming of lawyer when he graduated from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law with a Jurist Doctor in Law. 

Dwayne had worked in a law firm as a paralegal since 1996 and, by 2002, Dwayne had co-founded the firm of Bell-Singleton LLC in Atlanta with his law school classmate, Griffin Bell III.  Their core belief was to provide a more personal approach to handling people’s problems, and they did that together for over 2 years.  In 2005, after the birth of his daughter the year before, Dwayne and his wife, Leah, made the decision to move out of Atlanta to raise their family.  They started the firm of Singleton & Singleton LLC in Griffin, Georgia, still holding close to the belief that - no matter who you are or where you are from – a client deserves to have a voice that cares about them in the courtroom.  To this day, Dwayne and Leah run the firm by that code, promising never to take a case representing an insurance company and to only help the people in their community who need someone to fight for them.  

Dwayne has tried hundreds of cases and obtained victories for most of his clients.  He believes that being honest with the jury is the key to his many successes in the courtroom.  He says, “A jury can see when you’re lying; they can feel if you’re not being truthful.  You have to know and believe in your client, and you have to believe what you are saying to a jury, and the jury will see that and help you.   They want to help the good guys.  The jury wants to do what is good and right and fair.”  This is the principle he lives by and the lectures he often gives his team of attorneys who work with him.   

Despite his professional achievements, and numerous wins in the courtroom, Dwayne feels that his greatest accomplishment is raising a beautiful little girl in a community he loves with his wife, who he married in 1995.
