Tamia Simonis is an associate in Wiggin and Dana's Technology and Outsourcing Group. Tamia's practice encompasses representing outsourcing suppliers in complex, competitively-bid, business process outsourcing arrangements, from initial RFP through post-transition support, and advising customers and suppliers in the development, procurement, distribution, implementation, maintenance and use of technology-enabled products and services. She regularly helps clients create, negotiate and document near-shore, off-shore and global outsourcing arrangements, complex software development and license agreements, consulting and professional services engagements and other information technology and sourcing transactions in a variety of vertical industries.
Tamia received her B.S. magna cum laude as a University Honor Scholar from New York University. She received her J.D. summa cum laude from Pace University School of Law. During law school, Tamia served as the Managing Editor of the Pace Law Review. She was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Law Trustee Scholarship and, as class valedictorian, she received the University Faculty Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement.
