Sipp, John Peter

EDUCATION

In 1985, Mr. Sinclair graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, Bachelor of Arts (English and History), with highest honors. At Berkeley, he was a California Alumni Scholar, and is a lifetime member of the California Alumni Association. 

In 1989, he graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Juris Doctor.  At Hastings, he was on the staff of the Constitutional Law Quarterly.

PROFESSIONAL

Mr. Sinclair is admitted to practice law before all the courts of the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Northern District and Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  He served as assistant public defender in Placer County, and has worked both in San Francisco and Roseville practicing civil litigation in the state and federal courts. For the last six years, he has worked as a contract attorney for the  Sinclair Law Office.

Mr. Sinclair practices civil litigation before the state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level. 

PERSONAL

Mr. Sinclair was born and raised in Roseville, and graduated from Oakmont High School.  He has traveled extensively throughout western Europe.  He works in Roseville, and remains in Roseville between workdays, but returns to San Francisco on weekends where he maintains his primary residence.

Mr. Sinclair currently serves as a member of the Board of Director of Roseville Arts!, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating the arts in Roseville and south Placer County.
