Lawrence Silver received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from UCLA and earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco in 1973. In 1976, Mr. Silver and Mr. Goldschmid founded the law firm of Goldschmid, Silver and Spindel, a firm specializing in plaintiff Worker's Compensation Law.
Mr. Silver has been certified as a specialist in Workers' Compensation law by the State Bar of California and was honored as being 1 of 41 attorneys who have been specialized in Workers' Compensation Law for more than 30 years.
In addition to his litigation and partnership responsibilities, he has served on the legislative committee for the California Applicants Attorney's Association, and, for the past 6 years, has been declared a "Super Lawyer" by Los Angeles Magazine.
Recently, Mr. Silver has argued several cases in front of the California Court of Appeals challenging Governor Schwarzenegger's 2004 reform laws.
