Elaine T. Silver has been practicing law for more than 20 years, since her graduation from New York University School of Law. Attorney Silver has built a reputation as a caring, capable and efficient attorney and counselor at law. Her clients continue to consult with her, even after their divorces are concluded. She prides herself on counseling her clients to be at their best through the difficult divorce process. Ms. Silver now brings her vast experience representing professionals, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, high net worth individuals and their spouses to Central Florida.

In 2004 she was admitted to the Florida Bar to practice law in the State of Florida. She is certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Family and County Court Mediator.

Ms. Silver has opened a law office in Heathrow/Lake Mary to bring her sophisticated understanding of the difficult emotional and economic dynamics of divorce to clients in the Greater Orlando area. Prior to moving to Florida, she specialized in resolving complicated divorce and custody matters from her office at Silver Golub and Teitel, LLP in Stamford, Connecticut. Attorney Silver represented clients in reported cases that applied new concepts of law to the divorce field and set new heights of alimony and support awards in Connecticut. While very successful in traditionally litigated cases, Attorney Silver is committed to helping clients resolve their divorces by using alternative dispute resolution methods.

In addition to her work as a lawyer and mediator, Attorney Silver is active in professional organizations and the general community. She chairs the Family Law Section of the Seminole County Bar Association, is a member of the Central Florida Family Law American Inns of Court, and is a Guardian Ad Litem in Seminole County. She has served as attorney for the Guardian Ad Litem program and trains new Guardians. She was a Board member of The Children’s Home Society of Central Florida and chaired the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando.
