Brad grew up in small coal mining town in Mullens, West Virginia. He attended Marshall University and graduated with honors in 1993 earning a BA degree in criminal justice.
Brad attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia graduating with highest honors and valedictorian of his class in 1997. While in school he worked full time and was a member of the school's mock trial team. He was nominated at competition for the Best Advocate's award. Brad was also selected to serve in the prestigious position as Justice of the John Marshall Law School Honor Court.
After law school Brad worked for attorney Tommy Malone for six years handling catastrophic personal injury cases and serving as Malone's second chair at trial. Since departing the Malone firm, Brad has served as lead counsel in dozens of cases involving serious injury to his clients. Brad continues to focus primarily on automobile, tractor-trailer and premises liability cases.
Brad is a member of American Association for Justice (AAJ), Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) and former chairman over GTLA's tractor-trailer litigation section. Brad is on the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Consumer Justice Foundation.
Brad lives in Marietta, Georgia with his wife, daughter and son. He and his family attend North Point Community Church.
