Susanne Kaye Sichta was born and raised in Spooner Wisconsin. She received a bachelor of science at Northland College, an environmental liberal arts school, in Ashland, Wisconsin. She graduated magna cum laude with a double major in writing and environmental studies.
Ms. Sichta moved to Idaho after completing her undergraduate degree. She pursued her juris doctorate at the University of Idaho College of Law. As a law student, Ms. Sichta competed with her school's trial team, served as the vice-president of the Women's Law Caucus, was a member of the Public Interest Law Group and the Environmental Law Society.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Sichta moved to Jacksonville, Florida, passed the Florida bar, and accepted a position with Willis, Ferebee, and Hutton, a criminal defense firm located in downtown Jacksonville. Ms. Sichta then joined the appellate division of Tassone, Sichta, & Dreicer.
Ms. Sichta left Tassone, Sichta, & Dreicer in 2011 with her husband and law partner, Rick Sichta, to begin a new chapter of her professional life with the Sichta Firm.
Ms. Sichta has written appeals at the trial court, DCA, Florida Supreme Court, Florida Middle District, Eleventh Circuit and United States Supreme Court levels.
