Suzanne graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, where she received her bachelors degree in Psychology and minor in Environmental Science. Suzanne received her juris doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
During law school Suzanne was both a staff member and a senior staff member on the North Carolina Journal of Internal Law and Commercial Regulation. Additionally, Suzanne worked as a Student Attorney at the North Carolina Juvenile Justice Clinical Program. During law school, Suzanne worked as a clerk for the Honorable Glenn T. Harrell on the Maryland Court of Appeals (Maryland's highest court). Suzanne also worked as a legal and legislative aid for the National Organization for Women in Washington, D.C.
Suzanne joined our practice in January of 2012. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, the United States District Court of Maryland, and pending licensing in Washington, D.C. Suzanne's main practice areas include taxation, corporate and individual bankruptcy, and white collar criminal defense. Suzanne is also an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Howard County Bar Association. She currently co-chairs of the Howard County Bar Community Outreach Committee. Suzanne's published articles include: Juvenile Justice is Not Just Kid Stuff: The Forgotten Side of Fairness and Due Process, 9 Dartmouth Law Journal 87 (Fall 2011) and Academic Freedom on Its Last Legs After Garcetti v. Ceballos?, 33 Capital University Law Review (2011).
