Hilary Hoover, an associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation group, focuses her practice on securities litigation, internal investigations and corporate governance litigation, contract law and other complex business litigation. She has conducted numerous investigations regarding compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, with emphasis on alleged accounting irregularities. Hilary has a strong business background and has advised clients in the design of derivative securities, in private equity, merger and acquisition transactions, and in domestic and international stock and debt offerings. While in the Treasury Department, she negotiated international tax treaties and crafted rules and regulations governing the banking industry.
