Personal: Hillary was raised in the Puyallup area. Both her immediate and extended family continue to live in Puyallup. Upon graduation from law school, she was delighted to return to the Puyallup Valley where she practiced law for almost four years prior to joining Campbell, Dille, Barnett, Smith & Wiley, P.L.L.C. in 2001.
Education: Hillary graduated cum laude from the University of Washington in 1993 receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree and earning admission to the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Society. She also received her Juris Doctor degree with honors in 1996 from the University of Washington School of Law graduating in the top ten percent of her class. While in law school, Hillary was the Chief Justice of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.
Professional Memberships: Hillary is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association. She is an active member of the local family law section. She is also admitted to practice in federal court before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington and in tribal court.
She currently serves on the board for Sigma Kappa at the University of Washington as a financial and legal advisor. She is a member of the Salvation Army Board and the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association Editorial Board for 2002 through 2003. She also volunteers her time performing as a member of the Grace Notes Flute Choir at various community events.
Areas of Practice: Hillarys practice focuses upon all phases of litigation for family law, real estate, and general business matters.
