Linda Sherman is a partner in the Tax Practice Group specializing in Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits.

Practice

Ms. Sherman represents a broad range of clients on all matters involving employee benefits and executive compensation plans and individual agreements. This includes advice on tax and ERISA compliance matters on an ongoing basis, including issues of fiduciary duty and advice in connection with compensation and benefits aspects of corporate transactions.

Ms. Sherman has extensive experience advising non-profit corporations and trusts on a broad range of issues, including organizational or structural matters, compliance with applicable tax laws, as well as fiduciary and operational concerns.

Professional Activities

Ms. Sherman is a member of the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association. She has been a frequent speaker before local and national professional organizations, including the October 2009 ALI-ABA seminar on merger and acquisitions.
