Carrie L. Shaw joined the Sheridan office of Throne Law Office, PC in November of 2011. At Throne Law Office, PC, Carrie’s emphasis is on representing oil and gas companies in the preparation of title opinions, oil and gas transactional matters, surface use issues and mineral estate probate matters. Prior to joining Throne Law Office, PC, Carrie worked for Brown, Drew & Massey, LLP in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Ms. Shaw graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2009, where she served as Vice President and President of the Wyoming Law Students for Equal Justice and was a member of the championship Rothergerber Trial Advocacy Competition team in 2008 and 2009. She received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice combined with an Honors Degree from the University of Wyoming in 2005.
Carrie is active in the Sheridan, Wyoming community where she served as the Sheridan County Bar Association Vice President, has volunteered with Big Brother, Big Sister, Meals on Wheels, and many other organizations. Carrie is a Wyoming native and enjoys spending time in the outdoors, snowboarding and traveling.
