Patricia A. Sheehan is a partner of the firm. She focuses on patent drafting and prosecution, patentability studies and opinions, trademark registration, client counseling in patent and trademark matters, including patent and trademark infringement and enforcement matters. Areas of technology include computer architecture and software, including error correction systems; networks, including peer-to-peer systems and networked household appliances; storage technologies, including magnetic and optical storage systems; GNSS technologies including GPS and Galileo; microarray systems; medical devices; and consumer products.

Ms. Sheehan works with clients to pursue patent and trademark protection in the US and in foreign countries. She has also participated in proceedings before the International Trade Commission, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office.
