Keith E. Sharkin is a partner in Dickstein Shapiro's Intellectual Property Practice. Mr. Sharkin joined Dickstein Shapiro in 2010 and represents clients in a wide range of industries, including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electronics. He has handled litigation matters in federal courts throughout the United States and at the appellate level and has litigated cases for trademark infringement, unfair competition, dilution, false advertising, cybersquatting, copyright infringement, and trade dress infringement. Mr. Sharkin has handled numerous opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) as well as the prosecution of trademark applications at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also has supervised international trademark matters for his clients, including review of foreign searches and opinions, due diligence, counseling, and litigation.
