Ross E. Shanberg's legal practice emphasizes the representation of employers and management in all areas of employment law, including harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, employee leave and benefits, and wage and hour claims. Mr. Shanberg regularly advises employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws and he has made numerous appearances before California State and federal courts, the California Labor Commissioner and the U.S. Department of Labor in employment disputes. His practice also includes representation of employees, including the prosecution of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, unfair business practices and wage and hour claims.
A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Mr. Shanberg received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration in 1992. Mr. Shanberg later obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the California Western School of Law in 1995. He has contributed to the Orange County Bar Journal, HR.Com, and the Los Angeles Daily Journal where he has regularly published articles in the employment field. Mr. Shanberg is also a member of the State Bar of California, Labor and Employment Law Section, Orange County Bar Association, Employment Law Section, American Bar Association, and the Robert A. Banyard Inn of Court.
Mr. Shanberg was previously a partner with Kring & Chung LLP, and an associate attorney with the litigation firm of Baker, Silberberg & Keener where he practiced general civil litigation, including medical malpractice and products liability defense.
