Jason Hirsch is a senior associate in the firm’s Litigation/Controversy Department. He joined the firm in 2007. Mr. Hirsch’s practice focuses on trial and appellate litigation.
Practice
Mr. Hirsch has a general litigation practice and has handled a variety of matters involving securities, financial institutions, contract, tort, white-collar criminal legal issues, False Claims Act and constitutional law. Since joining the firm, he has represented individuals and public and private companies in civil and criminal matters, including class actions, before state and federal courts, federal regulators, international arbitration panels and congressional committees. Mr. Hirsch has also represented clients in appeals before multiple federal circuit courts.
Past Experience
While in law school, Mr. Hirsch served as an intern with the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. As a member of his law school’s Moot Court Honor Society, Mr. Hirsch won the Irving R. Kaufman Securities Law Competition. He also won the competition’s Best Respondent’s Brief and Best Final Round Advocate.
Prior to beginning his legal studies, Mr. Hirsch worked on John Edwards’ 2004 Presidential Campaign.
Professional Activities
Mr. Hirsch is a member of the Federal Bar Council American Inn of Court.
