Shapiro, Allan F

Bob Hinnenthal practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and cooperative law. He serves as legal counsel for the Brown County Rural Electrical Association, a rural electric utility cooperative represented by the law firm since 1937. Mr. Hinnenthal also serves as the court appointed Examiner of Titles for Brown County and as a member of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank Minnesota since 1982. He is a member of the Brown County, Ninth Judicial District, and Minnesota State Bar Associations. He has been recognized by his peers as one of the top 40 estate and probate attorneys in Minnesota.

Mr. Hinnenthal was born (1949) and raised in St. Peter, Minnesota. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College and received his Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota in 1971, where he was elected to the Honorary Society of Beta Gamma Sigma. He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Minnesota in 1975 and was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar the same year. Since 2009, Mr. Hinnenthal has served as the Brown County Attorney. He previously served as an Assistant Brown County Attorney for 18 years.

Mr. Hinnenthal has served on numerous charitable, community and church boards. His volunteer work has included serving as Chairman of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, President of the New Ulm Area Foundation and as a member of the Board of Control of Martin Luther College.
