Shanberg, Mark H.

Ms. Deepti Sethi is an outstanding attorney who graduated from one of Northern California's top law schools, has been recognized by numerous awards and achievements, and has dedicated her professional career to advocating for those who find themselves in seemingly hopeless situations.

Having grown up in the Indian community, Ms. Sethi knows that people who were not born in the United States often don't fully understand American law and the implications of their actions. This understanding along with her exceptional conflict resolution skills has allowed her to negotiate excellent outcomes for her clients who face accusations such as domestic violence, embezzlement and DUI.

Before working in Criminal Defense law, Deepti Sethi honed her negotiating skills by advocating for those without power - including recent immigrants, the elderly and juveniles.

As a public speaker and oral advocate, Deepti has testified in front of international and national government committees in San Francisco and Washington DC. Deepti has also written compelling testimony and arguments on behalf of citizen's appearing before Congress. As a Legal Fellow for Peace and Conflict Resolution in India, she presented information to community leaders, laypeople, NGOs and the Dalai Lama.

Deepti Sethi graduated from UC Hastings Law School where she won several academic and leadership awards. She received her undergraduate degree from Hampshire College.
