John Serino practices in the Business Law and Real Estate and Environmental areas. His practice encompasses all types of personal and business transactions. In the real estate area he represents all of the various parties in transactions including sales/purchases, mortgages/foreclosures and leases/leasebacks.

John began his practice as an associate in a small, but very old, Boston firm working on all types of legal matters, including admiralty law and practice, probate and trust practice, and trial work in all courts; he then became more specialized beginning a 20+ year period as a lobbyist at state and federal levels for banking, real estate, and other business interests. At the same time, he began representing banks and mortgage companies, both in Massachusetts and throughout the country, for regulatory, corporate governance, doing business, and real estate matters.

Prior to joining Davis Malm in 1993, John was the senior and founding partner of Serino, Ley, Young, and Grumbach. During his years at that firm, John also assisted clients at the state and federal levels in real estate and banking matters and acted as general and special counsel for many banking and financial institutions.
