Amanda G. Highlander is an associate attorney with Byron, Carlson, Petri & Kalb, LLC in Edwardsville, IL.

Amanda focuses her practice in commercial litigation, representing her client’s best interests through all steps of the litigation process (whether resolved through settlement or trial). She represents clients in a wide range of general litigation matters, from administrative actions and zoning matters to small claims actions and collection disputes.  Amanda also has experience in trial preparation and practice.  In addition to her litigation practice, Amanda serves as the Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of Edwardsville.

While studying at Washington University School of Law, Amanda was awarded the prestigious Golden Quill Award for best brief in the Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition.  Moreover, she served as president of the Women's Law Caucus and was the winner of the Client Counseling Competition.

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was an active participant in Alternative Spring Break and member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Amanda is a member of the Illinois and Missouri Bars and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Missouri and the U.S. District Court Southern District of Illinois.

An Edwardsville native, Amanda is a member of the Madison County Bar Association and serves on the board of directors of the Metro East Humane Society.
