Christopher Hexter focuses on Labor, Education and Employment Discrimination law. Before joining the firm in 1976, Chris worked at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri doing both criminal defense and civil rights litigation. Chris has been active in the ABA Section of Labor & Employment Law, serving as Union Co-Chair (1998-2001) and Union Program Chair (1995-98) of the Section's Developing Labor Law Committee. He co-edited Developing Labor Law (4th Edition), and continues as a chapter editor of the Annual Supplements to that publication. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education meetings on labor and employment issues. Chris has been listed in the publication, The Best Lawyers in America, Inc. (2006-10), "Super-Lawyer" in his field in Missouri and was elected to The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2001. Chris has been active in the civil rights movement, having participated in Freedom Summer in Mississippi and co-founded a student mentoring program in the St. Louis Public Schools. Chris received his JD from the University Of Wisconsin School Of Law in 1972.
