Ms. Scroggins graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in History with High Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated from C.U. Law School in May 1983 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in October 1983. She served two years as the municipal judge of a Northern Colorado town. Her practice has been a general civil practice with an emphasis in family law, wills and trusts, partnerships and small corporations. Ms. Scroggins took a hiatus from the practice of law for four years, but worked in the area of Worker's Compensation during that time primarily involved in negotiating and approving settlements. Ms. Scroggins joined the firm of Brega & Winters P.C. in November of 1998 and has a general civil practice emphasizing family law, personal injury.
