Karen Dalglish Seal graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 2000 after working twenty years in the field of special education as a special education teacher and as an administrator. While attending St. Mary's University, Karen Seal advocated for children receiving special education services from public schools. She earned her Master's Degree in Education at the University of Texas in San Antonio and her Bachelor's Degree in Deaf Education from Trinity University in San Antonio. Karen Seal has spoken at local, state and national conventions on the subject of special education. She is currently an attorney concentrating her practice on special education, education, disability and juvenile law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas School Law, Litigation and Juvenile Sections, the San Antonio Bar Association and the Council of Parents, Advocates and Attorneys for Children with Disabilities. She is licensed to practice in federal courts for the Western District of Texas. Karen Seal is an attorney who works for children who receive or should receive special education services and their parents.
