Todd Hettenbach is a counsel in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Business Trial Group. He joined the firm in 2004.

Practice

Primarily focusing on litigation and investigations, Mr. Hettenbach has represented clients before administrative agencies, trial courts, and appellate courts (including the United States Supreme Court).

Recent Experience

Mr. Hettenbach’s recent experience includes:

• Representing a European manufacturer and its US subsidiaries in a series of class actions and related litigation in federal court
• Litigating a breach of contract matter in New York State Court on behalf of a large technology company
• Representing a national environmental organization in its defense of an anti-terrorism law
• Conducting internal investigations in connection with government investigations and threatened civil litigation

Prior Experience

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Hettenbach directed an unemployment compensation clinic and was an environmental policy analyst at an advocacy organization based in Washington, DC.
