Carrie Seares is a senior associate in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2006.
Practice
While in law school, Ms. Seares held a summer position with a large New York firm, where she researched and wrote memoranda on corporate and other issues, as well as performed due diligence for transactional, investigative and litigation matters. As an intern with the Safe Horizon Domestic Violence Law Project, she drafted petitions for residents in a battered women's shelter regarding family law matters, including custody, visitation and protective orders.
Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. Seares was a legal advocate with the Urban Justice Center, Family Violence Project in New York City. She also served as a research assistant with the NOW Legal Defense Fund's Federalism Project.
