Amanda C. Hernandez is an Associate in the Houston and El Paso offices of Kennard Law P.C.  She is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.

Prior to joining Kennard Law P.C., Ms. Hernandez worked as an attorney for a management-side defense law firm with a large national client base.  She brings her experience representing large employers to individuals and small businesses.  

Ms. Hernandez graduated from the University of Notre Dame, with honors.  At Notre Dame Ms. Hernandez earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems. During her undergraduate studies, she was the co-president of the university’s Spanish Choir and an intern with the South Bend Homeless Shelter.

Ms. Hernandez graduated The University of Texas at Austin School of Law.  During law school, she was a law clerk for Justice Guadalupe Rivera at the Eighth District Court of Appeals in El Paso, Texas and an appellate law clerk for the Travis County Attorney’s Office.  Additionally, Ms. Hernandez served as Chief Articles Editor for the Intellectual Property Law Journal.  Prior to her law career, Ms. Hernandez worked as a high school teacher and as a real estate appraiser for the El Paso Central Appraisal District. She was born and raised in the El Paso, Texas area and spends time in both the Firm’s Houston and El Paso offices. 

Ms. Hernandez is fluent in Spanish and can assist clients accordingly.
