Josh graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Economics in 1972. He received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Seattle in 1978. Josh is a recipient of the Morehead Scholarship and is admitted to the United States Tax Court. For more than 27 years, Josh has represented employees, stockholder agreements and personal Wills and Trusts for the family. He has represented many families with disabilities and elderly problems, including Medicaid and long term care issues. Among Josh's civic contributions, he has served 10 years with the YMCA, is a past president of Charlotte South Rotary Club, is involved with the hospital projects in South America, Habitate for Humanity volunteer for United Way of Charlotte, is a visible advocate for disabled children and volunteers for guardianship and estate planning for families in need. He is a member of Elder Law and Estates, Trusts, and Probate Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association. Josh is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, the Charlotte Estate and Probate Council, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the American Bar Association. He also served on the Board of the Dual Professionalism Committee of Accountants and Attorneys. Josh was chosen by his peers to be recognized as a ""2006 and 2007 North Carolina Super Lawyer"" in the practice area of Estate Planning and Trusts. He is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law.
