Lawson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from York University, and then attended University of Ottawa Law School graduating with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2009 before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2010.
Lawson articled with a boutique litigation firm where he gained experience in a variety of practice areas including representing Indian Residential School survivors to obtain compensation through the Independent Assessment Process for sexual and physical harms suffered.
Following his articles, Lawson gained experience in personal injury litigation before joining Garfin Zeidenberg LLP where his practice is primarily devoted to personal injury law, particularly relating to motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls amongst other personal injury matters.
Lawson is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyer's Association, Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association and currently sits on the board of directors of the Canadian Shaare Zedec Hospital Foundation, a charitable organization.
