Some of my closest friends have told me that I am too competitive. For better or worse, I have been a competitor all my life. After graduating from Beloit College in 1980, I worked for May Department Stores Company in St. Louis for eight years. I gave up my job at May Company in 1989 to train full-time for a place on the U.S. Olympic Cycling Team. My fallback plan, if I did not make the Olympic Team, was law school. I graduated from Washington University Law School in 1991. I joined what is now Goldenberg Heller Antognoli & Rowland as an associate in May of 1991, became a Partner in 1997, and I am very proud to have been with the firm for almost twenty years.
