Dawn Rae Hays (formerly Grauel) is Of Counsel to Beggs Caudill, LLC, and a principal in her own firm, the Hays Law Office. She represents employees in cases against their current or former employers for claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Dawn also protects employee wage and hour rights under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Ohio law. She also counsels and trains employers on litigation avoidance strategies.

Dawn finds that her prior experience is a valuable asset as she advocates on behalf of employees. For almost ten years prior to joining the firm, Dawn defended Fortune 500 companies and middle market clients against employee claims. She also frequently presented on a variety of labor and employment law issues and taught continuing legal education courses.

Among her accomplishments, Dawn is listed in the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 & 2010 editions of "Ohio Rising Stars" by Law & Politics magazine. She was also the recipient of a 40 Under Forty award by Business First in 2007.
