While continuing in the family law tradition of Julius Law Offices, Mr. Haugen also has an expanded focus in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning and Business law in order to more fully support the needs of our clients.
Mr. Haugen received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in January 2012. While at William Mitchell, he conducted research in conjunction with Professor Jim Hilbert and the William Mitchell Center for Negotiation and Justice. He also participated on, and coached, the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team. The Jessup is one of the largest moot court competitions in the world, with teams participating from law schools around the globe.
Prior to graduation Andrew served for nearly two years as a law clerk at St. Paul based Kelly and Lemmons, P.A. He spent the fall of 2011 living in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked as a full-time intern in the legal department of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Andrew is also active with Landmark Education, an international personal and professional training and development organization. He is a graduate of Landmark Education’s Curriculum for Living and its Communication Curriculum.
Mr. Haugen hails from Prior Lake and currently resides with his wife, in South Minneapolis. He devotes his free time to golfing, writing and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, in which he currently holds the rank of blue belt. Andrew is a graduate of Minnehaha Academy and earned his B.A. in Communication Studies from Luther College
