Schick, Jennifer Wright

Jessica Scheppmann is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group and the Business Trial Group. She joined the firm in 2008.

Practice

Ms. Scheppmann concentrates her practice on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on high-stakes patent litigation. Ms. Scheppmann has represented clients in a variety of industries and has experience developing both patent and non-patent defenses and counterclaims. Ms. Scheppmann’s practice also extends to criminal defense work, including both large scale corporate investigations and individual representation in the area of antitrust, off-label promotion and securities fraud.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Scheppmann was an associate at another firm, where her practice focused on complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense. During law school she completed externships in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and for the Honorable Morrison C. England for the US District Court for the Eastern District of California.
