Steven H. Schafer is the principal of Steven H. Schafer & Associates, with offices in downtown Boston and on Route 128 in Needham. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Boston College Law School, Mr. Schafer has litigated serious personal injury cases for twenty-seven years, establishing his own practice in 1985.
He concentrates on plaintiffs’ products liability, medical negligence, nursing home negligence, personal injury and general liability tort litigation.
Mr. Schafer has been active in the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, serving as MATA president in 1998-99, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, having served as a State Delegate and on the ATLA Board of Governors. He lectures frequently on discovery and trial practice.
