Troy Sauro is an associate in the firm's Ligitiation practice. He focuses his practice on antitrust litigation, conseling and compliance, as well as all facets of electronic discovery.
Troy has represented clients on a variety of antitrust matters such as litigation and merger clearance matters in front of the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission as well as briefing antitrust issues in bankruptcy and general litigation. He has extensive experience negotiating with the DOJ and FTC in responding to Civil Investigative Demands and Second Requests on behalf of clients. He also provides antitrust counseling on various issues, including distribution agreements, involvement in standard-setting organizations and price fixing.
Troy has wide-ranging experience in electronic discovery and document management. In particular, he has overseen and managed numerous large document collections, reviews and productions for major national financial institutions, petroleum companies, public entities and software companies to preserve, maintain and collect documents, data and information necessary for responding to investigative and litigation requests. He also has experience advising clients on appropriate document retention policies and procedures, as well as forensically sound document maintenance, collection and production methods.
Troy spent several months living abroad in Tokyo advising a major banking institution on sales-practice issues in response to a government order.
