Sawyer, Joel T.

Joanne M. Sarubbi, Esq. received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark, New Jersey in 1985. From 1985-86, Ms. Sarubbi clerked for the Honorable William H. Walls, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Essex County. She worked as an associate attorney in two Passaic County law firms from 1986-1996. In 1996, she served as counsel to an Essex County law firm. In 2003, she opened her own law practice in Millburn, New Jersey.

Aside from her law degree, Ms. Sarubbi obtained a Masters of Science in Taxation from Seton Hall University School of Business in 2002.

For the last twelve years, she has served as general counsel to two senior citizen housing corporations located in Bloomfield and West Orange, New Jersey.

Ms. Sarubbi is affiliated with the following professional associations:

• New Jersey Bar Association (Member of the Business, Elder Law and Real Estate Sections)
• National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys

Ms. Sarubbi served on the New Jersey Supreme Court District Ethics Committee from 2005-09.
