Brad Harrison represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in courts and before arbitration panels throughout the United States. In addition to his civil litigation work, Brad has conducted internal and external investigations of companies on behalf of boards of directors and senior management. He also consults clients on litigation avoidance strategies.

Brad devotes a large part of his practice to the defense of companies in product liability actions, primarily involving manufacturers of medical devices. He is part of a team that serves as international coordinating counsel for one such medical device manufacturer. Brad has defended cases involving a variety of medical devices, including stress urinary incontinence products, silicone gel breast implants, ultrasound-assisted and conventional liposuction equipment, and intraocular lenses.

Brad also spends a considerable portion his practice on commercial disputes, including complex business tort and contract litigation. These matters have included the representation of individuals and companies in noncompetition agreement disputes and the representation of corporate policyholders in litigation against their insurers relating to environmental, product liability, and property damage liabilities. Brad also has been lead counsel for the defendant in a number of cases brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Brad is deeply committed to the Firm's pro bono activities. His pro bono representations have included both civil and criminal matters. Brad is active in Jones Day's Housing Court program, through which he has obtained successful results for tenants in disputes with their landlords. Brad is a member of the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association, and he currently serves on the Executive Council of the Young Lawyers Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
