Kevin Samuels focuses his practice on commercial financing, including representing banks and other financial institutions, equity sponsors, and public and private companies in senior and subordinated debt facilities. He has experience in various types of financing transactions, including syndicated, multibank, and single-lender credit facilities and acquisition-related facilities.
Prior to law school, Kevin worked as an associate at Thomson Financial where he counseled investment banks on institutional targeting and other matters related to placement and allocations in connection with initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, and convertible issuances.
Kevin serves as a member of the Cleveland Office's Recruiting Committee. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
Kevin is author of the note "Institutional Review Boards and the Statutory Compliance "Defense" to Intentional Tort Liability," 56 Case W. Res. L. Rev. 799, 2006.
