SUSAN NETTLES HAN is an Associate in the Birmingham office and a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group and the Business Litigation Practice Group. Susan's labor and employment practice focuses primarily on representing management and employers in litigation and appeals. Susan has experience in matters arising out of numerous federal and state laws, including: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; The Civil Rights Act of 1991; 42 U.S.C. Sections 1981, 1983, 1985; The Americans with Disabilities Act; The Family and Medical Leave Act; The Fair Labor Standards Act; Workers' Compensation; The Employee Retirement and Income Security Act; State-law torts arising out of the employment relationship.
As a member of the firm's Business Litigation Practice Group, Susan represents commercial and private property owners, banks and title insurers in real estate and real property litigation involving encroachment, easement, boundary, quiet title, and trespass disputes.
