Patrick W. Ryan focuses his practice on environmental, natural resource and land use law. He has more than ten years of experience advising large and small public and private clients with innovative compliance counseling, strategic assessments, and negotiation efforts under federal and state wildlife management and protection laws.
Special areas of emphasis include: Endangered Species Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, state forest practices, land use, the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, agricultural and environmental compliance, and Indian law.
Patrick's practice also includes the representation of timber companies in land use and development from purchase to sale to permitting matters. He has represented timberland land owners in over $200 million of sales of approximately 475,000 acres in Washington, Oregon and California.
