Russell, Randy P.

Mr. Ruffo is a 1989 graduate of Columbia College at Columbia University in the City of New York where he was a Dean's list member for academic excellence majoring in Political Science.  He went on to study law at St. John's University School of Law in Queens, New York where he graduated near the top of his class and excelled in both Appellate and Civil Trial Practice Competitions.

After obtaining his law degree, Mr. Ruffo became associated with Sullivan & Liapakis, PC., where he assisted in the litigation of substantial product liability claims against major automotive and machinery manufacturers.  He also handled the prosecution of mass tort claims against silicone breast implant manufacturers including The Dow Chemical Corporation.  In 1994, Mr. Ruffo joined DANKNER & MILSTEIN, PC., where he successfully litigated hundreds of cases involving negligence, products liability and medical malpractice.

In 2001 he was made a partner in the firm and in 2010 he was added as a named partner.  Currently, Mr. Ruffo serves as Managing Attorney and Senior Trial Partner trying many of the firm's most significant cases.  Over his 20 year career he has obtained numerous seven figure verdicts and settlements.

He has been voted by his peers as a New York Super Lawyer in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

In 2009 Mr. Ruffo was granted entrance into the Million Dollars Advocate Forum, a society reserved for practitioners who have won substantial verdicts and settlements.

In 2011 he was bestowed with Martindale Hubble's A/V Preeminent rating, the highest peer review rating for legal ability and ethics.

In 2011 he obtained and maintains a perfect 10/10 rating with the online legal and medical referral service AVVO.com.

In 2011 he was selected for the New York Bar Association's Legal Referral Service panel which is limited to those the City Bar deems preeminent in the field.

In 2012 he was elected Board of Director of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, The New York city Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association and The American Bar Association.

Mr. Ruffo is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York(1992), New Jersey(1992), United States District Court District of New Jersey(1993), United States Eastern District of New York(1993), United States Southern District of New York(1993) and the United States Supreme Court(2011).
